Handcrafted sake cups or salt bowls with approximately 2oz capacity, each one unique. Crafted from locally foraged clay and left minimally processed to preserve its natural character. Every piece features its own irregular profile and organic form. Some remain unglazed while others are finished with a dark clay and cobalt slip. The soda firing process creates distinctive surface variations—soda ash reacts with the clay to produce flashing colors and occasional glassy finishes. No two pieces are identical; some display a more matte texture while others show greater shine.
