Inspired by the wisteria blossoms of early summer, this Japanese incense captures their soft, powdery floral fragrance as they come into bloom.
Part of the Reminiscent Flowers collection, each scent is inspired by the changing seasons and the flowers traditionally associated with Japanese gardens. A subtle note of sumi ink runs through the fragrance, adding a quiet depth that recalls the brush and ink paintings of Japanese artist Ayuko Sadaie.
Sadaie’s botanical artwork appears across the packaging, offering a glimpse of the garden from the artist’s perspective. When the full incense collection is placed together, the individual packages reveal her complete painting.
Light a stick when you want the room to feel softer and more settled. Wisteria has a gentle floral presence that feels especially lovely in the bedroom, beside the bath, or during a quiet afternoon at home.
Handcrafted in Awaji, Japan, an island with a long tradition of incense making.
