Kanayamidori is an organic Japanese sencha grown in Kirishima, Japan, with a fresh, bright flavor and a wonderfully smooth, almost creamy feel when you drink it.

The name comes from the variety of tea plant used to make it. Japan grows many different varieties of green tea, each with its own character, and Kanayamidori is especially loved for its delicate aroma and naturally smooth texture.

Brew a cup and you’ll find a refreshing green tea with hints of lemon basil and kombu, bringing together a little brightness, a little savory depth, and a soft finish that lingers pleasantly.

It’s a lovely tea to make when you want something fresh but not too sharp. Pour yourself a cup in the morning, come back to it in the afternoon, or brew a small pot when you have a little more time to sit and enjoy it.
