Morihata Organic Genmaicha Green Tea Bags

Regular price $18.00 Sale

All the warm, toasty goodness of genmaicha, in a tea bag you can make anywhere.

Genmaicha is a Japanese favorite that blends organic green tea with roasted brown rice. As it brews, the rice releases a wonderfully warm, toasted aroma, while the green tea keeps the cup fresh and balanced.

The flavor is smooth and gently savory, with hints of toasted cereal and hazelnut. The roasted rice also softens some of green tea’s natural bitterness, making this an especially easy tea to enjoy—even if Japanese green tea is completely new to you.

These individual tea bags make it wonderfully simple. Keep a tin at home, bring a few to work, or pack them when you travel. All you need is a cup and hot water.

Genmaicha is also particularly good with food, so try a cup alongside breakfast or lunch. And when you want something cool, brew a bag and pour it over ice for an easy, refreshing afternoon tea.

No measuring, no special equipment. Just a really good cup of Japanese tea whenever you feel like one.

Detailed brewing instructions are included with each tin.

Made in Kirishima, Japan.
