Meigetsu is an organic Japanese sencha harvested early in the growing season in Kirishima, Japan, when the young tea leaves are tender, fresh, and naturally sweet.
Hot water wakes everything up. The leaves open into a bright green cup with a silky texture and a delicate floral aroma reminiscent of lavender. A clean mineral note follows, leaving the finish fresh and almost cooling.
There’s something very springlike about it—not simply in flavor, but in feeling. Green, lively, and full of newness.
Meigetsu is offered exclusively in pyramid sachets, giving the tea leaves room to open and move through the water as they steep. It also makes a beautiful cup remarkably easy: one sachet, hot water, and a few quiet minutes.
