Pure cedar wood is rolled to form this incense. The Himalayan Cedar for this fragrant rope incense is extracted from the wood of cedar trees which are found in Himalayan Region of Nepal. The common Nepali name for this Himalayan Cedar is Dhup. Use this incense for meditation in your home, stupa or temple. This type of dhup or dhoop is typical in Newari community and almost each and every Nepalese home uses it. It is also referred to as Newari Dhup.
